I concur with FloridaJim. I ran my MA-1s into the Gallo Ref 3 and the sound was fantastic.
Very encouraging. Perhaps I should just go for the MA-1.On the AudioGon Bluebook I find an MA-1d (140 wpc), an MA-1t (100 wpc) and a MA-1 MKII (140 wpc). Do you have one of the 140 wpc models or the 100 wpc model?

I used to run Gallo Nucleus Reference speakers with a pair of M-60's. The sound was absolutely fantastic. Atma-sphere and Gallo are a great combination as they both excel at 3d imaging and huge expansive soundstage. The combo is awesome together. I've since moved on to horns and older push-pull designed amps, but I still think about the Atma/Gallo combo.By the way, I'm selling an Atma-Sphere MP3 Line/Phono preamp (with voltage reg mod) and a pair of M-60 Mk2's. If interested, drop me a line.
I am interested in the Atma-Sphere MP3. Please e-mail me the details.
