Thanks, glad you dug them. Woody's band at that time (Third Herd, I think?) played a lot of bop charts and was pretty nice. I have a few things from that period. Somewhat hit and miss, but enjoyable for the most part and swinging like mad at times.

Woody's various herds always cooked like crazy, with outstanding featured players and sidemen. His own solos were kinda un-boppish, but I still love the guy...and his vocals were always a kick.
