I know that it's a tradition on Barry's site to use the initials of players when guessing rather than names. But unless I'm missing something obvious, I don't really see the point of it. Sometimes I can figure out who the player is from the intials but often not, and if somebody doesn't know who's being discussed, the comments can be pretty cryptic.Makes sense to use names only in the body of the message, not the subject line, so that somebody who stumbles onto an invitation to listen to a new group of mystery recordings doesn't see a name before listening.

...that I've thought the same thing myself. If people are going to peek, they're going to peek, so what the heck.

So now on we should use names. Me and dh got Nat King Cole's initials screwed up anyway. Both of us put down NCK, if I remember correctly. I admit that I don't know who a lot of the initials are ---- I can barely remember my own.
