Perhaps I should have been more clear so get too excited yet. I meant vinyl records. :)Years ago I gave away my B&O turntable and my records as there was no space for them. I'm thinking of getting a turntable but have noticed that over the past 10 years, the only source of records are used ones from my local HiFi dealer. I still have a bunch of old stuff but half of it I wouldn't listen to anymore.
If I can't get lots of good music for it, there's no point in going back. So where is it? Hit me. :)
Follow Ups:
have found treasures in thrift stores for pennies.
Lot's of talk over there about old & new vinyl, where to get it, etc.
see link below.

means unless you are in the Berkshires. If so, a drive to Albany to visit "Last Vestige Music" may be worth your while

aren't there? Not exactly right down the street, but not so bad either.
BTW & FWIW I consider myself to be "MetroWest", but I am outside 495 and considerably north of Framingham, etc.
usually between Rt 1 on the south and rt 3 on the north.
never heard that expression before but then, I don't live near Boston. Cambridge has a bunch of record shops last I knew

and some comments from those guys.
Salvation Army, Goodwill, other thrifts can have lots of vinyl records. I buy from my local store (has some) and when I want to drive through 2 hrs of traffic to LA, go to Record Surplus and if I ever get a chance, Amoeba.
There's one in every crowd, isn't there?
There aren't any around me that sell anything but CDs, DVDs, and video games. Maybe I am just looking in the wrong places.
