Do you think Mahler and Bruckner wrote a lot of music than Haydn? No, Mahler and Bruckner did not, they never even composed concertos.
The Eighth Symphony was fantastic by the BSO?
I have only two CDs of the Mahler symphonies, but I am not crazy about - hearing all of his symphonies, and as for Bruckner, boring.
Seiji Ozawa - Symphony #1 by Mahler (SWR)
Sir George Solti - Symphony #8 by Mahler (RCA)
Sir Neville Marinner - Symphony #4 by Bruckner (boring.)

One of the few. Nice tempi. If Bruckner is boring, the Fourth is about as boring as he gets. Try the 8th or the 9th. You might change your mind.
As for Mahler, you should hear the 2nd, 5th, & 6th at least. (The 8th is somewhat unrepresentative. I like 'em all, but the 8th not so much.)
Borrow 'em from your local library and see if you like them.
