Ysa˙e violin sonatas would be a good choice. Also some of Joseph Suk's violin witing. However, the bar you set is awfully high. There is little in any musical literature that reaches those heights.
The works you cite as profound seem to end around Brahms. Maybe we could be looking at something more contemporary? works including prominent violin include:
Stravinsky - Soldiers Tale
Violin concerti by Prokofiev, Shostakovich (esp. no 1), Sibelius, Berg, Bartok
String quartets by Shostakovich and BartokIf you just want "profound music" try
Stravinsky - Symphony of Psalms, Mass, Les Noces (Bernstein)
Hindemith - Nobilissime Visione, Mathis der Maler
Shostakovich - Symphs 5 and 10
Sibelius symphonies 4,5,6,7
Bartok - Concerto for Orchestra (Fricsay), Music for strings, percussion and celeste
Have you heard the Kodaly sonata for solo cello? Blows my mind.
