do you sit in that chair that close, seems you would be way in front of the sweet spot, or is it a photo illusion thing?
Hi,
This setup sounds amazing. The sweet spot is as sweet as can be. "The Chair" is about 4 feet back from the front of the speaker line, and the speakers are 11 feet apart. The ceiling is angled and 10' tall, and the speakers are angled back asymmetrically to avoid back wave cancellation. The imaging and soundstage is amazing.
Try a sideways setup. It may sound even better, it did in my setup.
I tried it all, and for my room, this setup is it.
Thanks for the suggestion, though!
Jerry
I don't know about the bigger models, but you can sit as little as 2 ft back from my modded MMGs and get awesome sound. Not sure about the factory stands, but with them vertical and no toe in it works great.I much prefer them nearfield.
