Big Mapleshade user I see. How do you like the Isofeet and Sampson?
I like the Mapleshade racks and isoblocks, particularly with tubes (I have no experience with them and solid state). I love the look and sound of wood, and as an acoustic musician, and given the microphonics of tubes, putting everything on acoustic grade maple makes a lot of sense to me. The system sounds great, and I think it helps.
Thanks!

I keep my 3.6's straight w/ no toe-in whatsoever unless I am doing nearfield listening. Looks like we both like our Rogues and Maggies...looks like you have quite a bit of Mapleshade in there to. Nice setup! I can safely assume it sounds excellent. I wish I had hardwood floors.I'm getting my autoformers next week. What do you have them set at?
take care,
Jon
p.s. I'll add a pic in a few days, in case you'd like to compare.
You copied mine, dude! : )
I use the autoformers at 2x on the 8 ohm taps on the Rogues. I also use anticables which I find work really well.

Jerry, didn't recognize your username (mando). In any case I wanted to ask you a few questions about your system that I'd prefer to do in private-well just not on this site anyway. And, no I'm not selling anything ;-)

Have found no reason to leave this room except for food and drink. J.
do you sit in that chair that close, seems you would be way in front of the sweet spot, or is it a photo illusion thing?
Hi,
This setup sounds amazing. The sweet spot is as sweet as can be. "The Chair" is about 4 feet back from the front of the speaker line, and the speakers are 11 feet apart. The ceiling is angled and 10' tall, and the speakers are angled back asymmetrically to avoid back wave cancellation. The imaging and soundstage is amazing.
Try a sideways setup. It may sound even better, it did in my setup.
I tried it all, and for my room, this setup is it.
Thanks for the suggestion, though!
Jerry
I don't know about the bigger models, but you can sit as little as 2 ft back from my modded MMGs and get awesome sound. Not sure about the factory stands, but with them vertical and no toe in it works great.I much prefer them nearfield.
