Return to Planar Speaker Asylum

and they sound very grand with my 1.6's.I know this probably belongs on the cable asylum but I thought fellow Mag-heads would benefit as well since; if your like me, I spend most of my time here!
Also gonna remove a 'lot' of silver from my interconnects (silver strand/Cardas silver RCA's) since I feel there's a bit of 'etchiness' occuring (thanks P.Gunn for pointing this possibility in a earlier post!).

Follow Ups:
I have too much time on my hands and an extra kilometer of CAT5 Cable. So I was braiding speaker cable last weekend while watching the NCAA's. I just like the looks of the stuff and it blends in with the berber carpet in the main lising room. So now I have six cables - 2 pair for my biamp front MMG's and another pair for my DYI onmi side speakers. I triple up the cable - then I separate the solids and whites for the +/- signal. Electrically, averaging the measured values at 1KHz and 10KHz, the braided cat-5 has 15% more inductance, about 8% less capacitance and the DC resistance is about 25% higher than a similar length of the 12 Gauge. Sound is indisquingishable from my normal 12 gauge home depot speaker cable but it looks great, and appeases the occasional audiophile that would otherwise grimace at my cabling. Also, its meditatively fun to do - like the when I was a kid and wound my own slot car motor armatures.
So at what percentages of increased resistance and inductance would you expect to hear a difference?
Heck if I have any idea... I just have some good measurement equipment. When I run the math on the filter network the inductor and capacitive reactance attenuation is way out of band, with the resistance difference making a .008 dB difference in overall level.
Hi GL,Yes, I made some up too (3 pairs, as I'm triamped, but each cable is only 4' long).
I slightly modified their construction to use copper foil cut from unwanted Solo inductors (left over from my passive XO days! :-)) ) in place of the braided shield, as I have a "thing" about stranded wire.
They sound fantabulous to me!! :-))
