I'd undo the socks from the bottom and locate the four 'tabs' in front where the drivers and cross-overs meet. I'd remove the spades and replace them with spades of my own already connceted to the new cross-over components. This ensures the integrity of stock components if you wish to go back to the original wiring (giving the option of stock vs upgraded if selling). Not cutting involved whatsoever to the original fabric or component's.____________//________________

does the facrory color code this correctly? or is it a matter of users just matching connections based on position.
on each wire and supports it. Just remember to tag each lead corresponding with the leads you remove.

This is excellent advice GL.EVERYONE makes this mistake, even knowing that they are mirror imaged, it still happens.
I have got into the habit of figuring it out by ear, using phase test tones.
