I've never owned 1.6's, but have always wondered about the difference in 'drivability' between those and the 12's.That, and how good the 1.6's sound at lower volumes, compared to the 12's.
Hey Henry,
I've run both on my 3.6's and the 90's were not enough; I think they would be borderline for the 1.6's
I know the M150's would drive 'em nicely; that's the combo that the Rogue boys run at their shop, and I love 'em with my 3.6's.
Hope this helps,
Jerry
I'm a big Rogue fan, too. I've owned a Stealth phono stage, 66 preamp, 2 Metis preamps and a Cronus integrated.

Henry,
You never know, you could pick up some M120's or M150's on A'gon. I got my M150's as dealer demos with a full warranty for around 3K...
So there's always hope!
Best regards,
Jerry
I don't think I have room for 2 large mono amps in my setup. No room behind speakers. I'd have to sit them on amp stands in front of the entertainment center. Doable, but . . .
