The Sumo was a very interesting speaker.I remember that Robert Greene reviewed it in TAS and thought that it sounded better up-side-down.As I recall, it was a large rectangular diaphraghm(maybe metal)driven from the center.Anyone out there who might have some pix?
Don't recall Robert commenting on the speaker upside down but I thought that he gave it an absolutly honest and accutate (in my opinion) review. There is a picture over at the Audio Circuit somewhere. Did not know that Paul was bak at this again but I see that this is an NXT panel design where as the Highwood Audio loudspeaker (sold thru Sumo) was a single point source design built from the ground up in Calgary Canada by Highwood. Hope this helps. Regards Moray James. (codesigner)
