across country. They survived but the buyer has reported the felt at the rear of the speaker has shifted and is no completely uniform (and is bunched up in some spots) Any recommendations on repairing this? Are these glued on a substrate? One other quickie, where may the buyer obtain a replacement pilot lamp?

...and replace the dropping resistor in that housing while you're in there. These run straight from the mains transformer so the dropping resistor is essential.
The material is glued (well, attached with some black gunk or other) onto the rear metal grille. I've used glue from a heatgun (the clear stuff sometimes used for large cardboard boxes) - quick and easy. I've also seen other people suggest sewing it onto the grille. One thing - make sure no bits of loose string (the material has string runing through it) hang over the connections on the EHT block. I once fitted everything on an ESL, replaced the (20 or so screws), only to hear a nasty humming sound at power up. The material had slipped over the EHT block, and some arcing was happening. Had to remove the 20 screws and trim back the material a little...
As for the pilot light, I took from out of a mains switch from a broken piece of equipment...works fine, though it was awkward to fit. Hope this helps.
