Could somebody either advise me where I can get a pair of 25uF Auricap's online? Is it still made as the only stockists I can find seem to have the 22uF and then the 33uF.Alternatively is there any problem in just running a 22uF and a 3uF each side or a 15uF and a 10uF? If I was to do that I could go either Auricap or Mundorf M-Cap Supreme - any prefs out there?
Thanks for any help.
Cheers,

ASC makes some 25uF caps.
http://www.alliedelec.com/Search/searchresults.asp?N=0&Ntt=oil capacitor asc 25muF&Ntk=Primary&sid=455BAA003F6B617F&i=0They are big, but I think they are unsurpassed for the money. I know they are industrial caps, but after using them, I have been very impressed. I have heard of people using them successfully even as signal caps. I think they would mate well with PIO (Jensen, Vitamin Q, etc.) caps.
I found this page useful when I was looking at caps, as I couldn't afford to try them all out (although I have tried out a few) and wanted to find caps that meet my tastes:
http://www.humblehomemadehifi.com/Cap.htmlASC's may not be on the same level as the caps you listed, but the shunt cap is much less critical than the an in-series cap (as on the high pass), which is why you may see some ridiculously cheap electrolytic shunt caps on high end speakers. I would put my capacitor money into the high-pass caps.
so you need to have more than one cap to make up the 25uF.At first glance, you might think that 22uF & 3.3uF would be fine but I have heard you get better sonic results from the same (or similar)sized caps - so 2 x 12uF or 3 x 8.2uF would be better than a 10uF + a 15uF. These are all "E12 standard values".

Thanks Andy. I seem to remember there was a 25uF Auricap listed somewhere but perhaps I was mistaken.Cheers,
