Has anyone tried these?

I have as well with a 50 wpc EL34 based tubed amplifier as well as with a UCD 400 based amp. Worked to ease the load from my 1.6Qr's on the tubed amp. Another bonus is that when I used them with the UCD based amp, it really cleaned up the RFI and made the background dead black and quiet. I still have mine (they are encased in the Cherry wood cabinets) though I'm probably going to sell them as my current amp, a Music Reference RM-200 has it's own built in autoformers.Hope this helps and feel free to email me privately if you'd be inetersted in buying them.
I used them between home-made OTL amps and MG-20 midrange/tweeter sections. The 4-ohm Maggie drivers were stepped up to look like 16 ohms to the amps, which is about optimum for them. The sound was much better with the ZEROs than without, and I could detect no loss of HF information. If you get the naked ones, be sure to provide a firm and acoustically quiet support for them. Plastic bags filled with quartz sand on firm bases work well.
There have been several post over the last couple of years. Mostly positive.
