or maybe I just don't get what you are proposing.
The newbies join forum boards to learn, so they are going to want to mingle with the experienced regulars, and the experienced regulars are not going to want to keep rehashing the same topics over and over, so I would suspect they would stay away from a newbie board.I think dealers, and manufacturers may be more helpful than the regular audiophile, and visit a new. forum because they are in the business and being helpful shows they have a commitment of caring. But I think newbies would want to learn from people who simply have had experience, a variety.

There was no intention to create a gehetto. Just a sort of, well, a sort of antipode to the "Pro" Asylum. If that makes ANY sense, that's the best way I can express it.Best to The Killer.

An Antiasylum would be cool...how about anticentral. Here people could only post things of the highest virtue...nevermind.

THIS is why I blow so much time strait-jacketed! Tolkien and Pirsig...the only books I've ever read more than once...three times for The Hobbit and Trilogy, 4 times for Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. And...for you book collector's, my copy of Zen is a first!
for central!
Montitors!
Please move this to a more appropriate venue....maybe Music Lane, where it may actually be appreciated.:o)
