In Reply to: Anyone know if there are business cards in Works or Word? posted by Muzikmike on April 23, 2007 at 12:33:18:
Janita developed both hers and mine on her old computer in her office upstairs so it has to be there.
I think if you open "envelopes and labels" in Word, choose a label size that is the same size as your business card, do some creative and inventive work and print them out. (I think it helps if you go to your local stationary store first and get some business card stock. Print the first sheet out on regular paper to see how they look)
It is not very hard and a couple hundred cards shouldn't cost much more than $10-15 and time.

But I found that MS Publisher (which you don't appear to have unfortunately) has a great business card template which I used to good effect. If you can get your hands on Publisher (if I were there I'd hook you up big time) do get it as it's great for all sorts of signage and brochures, etc.
Tell her that I wish her the very best of luck in her new endeavors!
When you open MS Word, click on "New" and then select the option that says "Templates on Office Online". They have (at last count) 48 business card templates to chose from and most specify the paper-stock best suited. The link below will take you to the page...
Good luck!

If I had more money I'd soon be broke...but I'd have more LPs!
then cut and paste into Word. Then you can edit the size of the art.I know......it looks easy on paper.
Janita did it but I don't know how. She spent a lot of time and there was much cursing and blue air but she caught on she said it was relatively easy. But then there's very little about "Word" she doesn't know.
I'll send her a message and ask if she has time to write out a brief explanatory note.
