This is my night off so I am able to listen to some of my favorites. Eva Cassidy has to be one of those rare musicians that I know of that can touch your heart with her soulful rendition. Her voice to me is as pure as freshly driven snow.
Follow Ups:
Abdullah Ibrahim.
Had just finished prepping one of those faux marble Kenwoods for sale and went looking for something to listen to. I'd forgotten all about this LP and was more than happy to take the TT for a little test drive with it.
I like Eva too but her music was also one of my former Mentor's fav listening artists so she was on every time I went to the store. I got a little full of her so I'm giving her a bit of a rest.

....... I am thinking I might go and put on some Janice Joplin …Earlier today I thought I might put on my Simon & Garfunkel concert DVD - - -the one where they perform in front of a gazillion people in Central Park in the Big Apple. ( I will play it straight after Janice)
What is it exactly you have the night off from? ( or don’t I wanna know?)
We have had a fifteen year old foster kid here from Friday till this morning so I am kinda hoping that my betrothed may possibly want to be romantically indulgent with me. ( It might be Tuesday evening but it is school holidays so I might be lucky) :o)
Oh, “freshly driven snow” - - - that would be rather like slush wouldn’t it?
