which if any of you have cats which are very GOOD mousers. As it is autumn here the meeces are a-breeding and a-harvesting away, like beavers!
And DT (the calico cuddle slut) is getting to be a bit of a nuisance, what with bringing each day's catch of 1/> in, just to show us what HOPELESS providers we are! and that NOISE!!!!!
She is STILL on a diet, on vet's orders, too! So, I am going to have to cut her official rations, again, already!
Me! on a treadmill-cum-merry-go-round!?
So it seems.
;-)} she's a tubby lil' thing, but cute.

.......er, um, you do mean DT and not you I hope?We have two cats left (out of four a while back) and both are good rat catchers. We don’t have any mice here other than the pet mice.
The usually trick is for a rat to be left right on the door-step minus its head.
My kitty-kats are getting old now but they can still catch rats and neither of them is over-weight. They have both lost interest in the bird-life so they don’t need to wear a bell around their collar any longer. (The damn birds terrorise the cats now)
What I am seeing up here are damn rabbits!!!!!!! – I have never seen so many rabbits in the district before. I can only imagine the poor ol’ foxes are being wiped out. (along with the feral cats)
I don’t mind rabbits but some of the old pencil noses around here blow a gasket at even the mention of the word “rabbit”.
Maybe all the mice down there are leaving the sinking ship?
