Van Ness is a congested street that runs N-S in San Francisco. It starts at Aquatic Park, and goes all the way to Market. If you cross Market, it turns into South Van Ness.Because I'm too busy looking out for traffic, bicyclists, and muggers, I've never noticed the shrubbery :-(

well timbo, mayor newsom has initiated a lot of things lately, including sex with others in his office. everyone noticed that, but not the shrubs.
I took some cuttings off them and the bottle brushes for the wonderful concierge ladies at the Grand Hyatt! they were a big help from day one on!["Geeze 'eezabittuva crawler this Timbo bloke, iz'nee!?" well, Aussie TA doesn't cover tipping, so what ELSE was I gonna do!]
They put them in a vase on the desk for the whole week!
I have long thought that this species of gum tree which are native to our warm and mild NSW coastal areas were UNSUITABLE in FROSTY Canberra.
Buttttt, I now find that an enterprising group of locals have been selecting for frost resistance in this, and a couple other 'flower' gum species - from WA - as well, the Coral gum and the Caesia, so now I have to figure out where the one variety chosen can go!
I'd prefer out the back, but the front is waht SELLS!
;-)! sighhhhh!

Have heaps of borer pests here and DON'T last - unless looked after like they wuz babies.
Lots of acacias here and in Serth Effrika, and in South Amer. too, confirming continental drift.
