I get the local paper every morning, the Royal Gazette, and it takes me about as much time to read as a copy of People Magazine - a matter of minutes.I will sometimes buy a New York Times or Wall Street Journal when it comes in in the afternoon (or even sometimes the previous days' edition if any are left and the new ones haven't arrived yet). Man, this thing is like a Tolstoy novel compared to our rinky dink rag sheet. I could sit there and read it for hours; where do you guys find time to consume this tome?
Not complaining, but I hate it when I buy it but don't have time to finish it and have to throw it away.
Follow Ups:
and whatever the Seattle paper is. I can never read the whole thing, and probably wouldn't want to. `Would take all damn day!

Crank up your talking machine, grab a jar of your favorite "kick-back", sit down, relax, and let the good times roll.Eagles may soar, but weasels do not get sucked into jet engines.
He'd have a very nice read of the NY Times. It's all relative, having had a chance to compare a small town (island) paper with the biggest. Even the local New York news section is fascinating sometimes. And the writing is so much better of course.
