Later Gator,
Crank up your talking machine, grab a jar of your favorite "kick-back", sit down, relax, and let the good times roll.Eagles may soar, but weasels do not get sucked into jet engines.

I'm still calling both of our cats "butthead" after their last destructive escapade. I have another repair session to perform before I get my Forest looking right again....and then I have to resist the urge to inspect my work with a magnifying glass.
I have two rat finks today, 1 has "issues" with the litterbox, the other has issues with vomiting in inappropriate places...no love....

...sometime before I had to get up at 3:00am?

f#$&*@g cat for about three hours. She really didn't do it on purpose so I decided to let her live. She managed to throw her mouse toy on top of the speaker. Since she knows she's not allowed to climb on furniture, she decided to try and reach up there to knock it off. Well, she could only reach as far as the speaker surround. Because I've been too busy to get her claws clipped she snagged the surround on the way down.In all I guess I'm lucky. She doesn't climb on counter tops or furniture, chew cables, scratch sofas, or even take an interest of the outdoors. She's not shy around adults or kids and doesn't stay mad for more than a few seconds.
I suppose I'll keep her.
from those whose adult cats only seem to spend non-hunting time at home...A coincidence, perhaps?...
I'll get over it.

I suspect cool judgement, combined with a potentially vicious left hook...I have seen similar expressions in the eyes of feral cats who seem to very successfully prey on slower rabbits and the brown rats that always seem to try to infest a barn, when visiting my brother-in-law's farm...
Thanks to both the feral cats and week-end visits by a particularly motivated Yorkshire Terrier (who may be rather smaller than a lot of the rats he kills!), the barns are largely rat-free for most of the year, only seeming to be occasionally noticed around harvest-time...
You've evidently got a cat of "character" there...
Bill.
