"Beam me out of here!"Ergo grex , proinde ergo sum.
Follow Ups:
Please translate: Ergo grex, proinde ergo sum. I took Latin in the 9th grade, about 40 years ago. Back then schoolbooks were used year after year. My book had been used several years previously. In the front were the following words:
Latin is a language
as dead as dead can be
It already killed the Romans
and now its killing me.
Its a shame I didn't retain more.
Nothing more than a slight re-wording of Descarte's "Cogito, ergo sum" ("I think, therefore I am"). Being the owner of three dogs, two of them belonging to the Herding Group, that phrase roughly translates into "I Herd, therefore I am".But I'm not really sure about the use of the word "proinde" so I've dropped it based on some information someone sent me.
Ergo grex, ergo sum.
I got cained by the Headmaster for that.Mrs Thompson was a 'rod of iron' herself.
