This is a followup on similar post on Tweaker's Aylum.
Initial observations on effect of new Intelligent-card used via Intelligent-box( same source as Billiant Pebbles):
one of the most effective CD based tweak(in my experience)/ effect seems more strikingly additive than other tweaks -cleans the background with increased clarity while adding believable dimensionality to complex- orchestral/ choir music- and simpler/solo music(piano); effect on notes decay which are more convincingly rendered, most noticeable, adding thrilling atmospheric cues. Just seems to breath more life into reproduced music which becomes more vibrant. Mechanism of action mysterious and open to controversy. Kind of quacky sounding tweak but nevertheless with surprisingly convincing and amazing effects. No detectable coloration. Effect may vary some, from CD's to CD's.Tried on 30 CD-R's so far with full effect on most. Has to be tried before commenting on it . Definitively worth a try for the CD afficionado's and the inquisitively minded.

Initial posting did not bring much attention or generate any debate, hence my reposting on a broader forum...and this seems to be working! Again my focus was not to debate the mechanism of action, which i agree is probably farfetched but to report the undeniable effect to my ears of the Intelligent-Card. We could just sit here and argue about the elusive gender of angels ad vitam eternam, ramble sarcastically or become unduly emotional or one could try the Intelligent-Card out and report what their ear is telling them. This would have more sense and would help the progression of this debate. Intriguing tweak certainly worth all the attention and passion and fury it is stirring. The Intelligent-Card effect is not subtle and in many CD's it is just plain spectacular!

my big problem is that the pejorative "nanny" word can be used for almost anything done by a government. Safety standards for kid's car seats. Building codes for electrical wiring. Zoning.So suppose all government regulation goes away and people are allowed to sell toys that plug into the wall, but are so poorly designed that they fatally shock children. The free market will fix that, eventually these toys will stop selling, but is the free market really the best choice?
...and so is self-regulation.

If we "Just try it" to see if it works, then "he" has the $195 or whatever he charges for it. And then "we" have subsidized whatever "it" is that he is doing. (You fill in the blanks)In other words, some are not so open minded as to just give $$ away on something pretty far fetched just to "give it a fair chance". Maybe if "he" offered a money back guarantee or a trail period, then I might try it.
Until then "the just try it" argument quite simply holds no water!

I did not call you a fool for purchasing jars of rocks and plastic outlet covers. I simply said, I do not think asking somebody to drop several hundred bucks to "give something a fair chance" is NOT a valid argument when the seller is not willing to put up equal risk.Your little statement may pointed in the wrong direction. For a very, very, very, questionable tweak. Why not use the funds for better gear or more music? Maybe some room treatments? I bet any of these would be far better place to put your audio cash instead of the I like the rocks,chips etc you should buy schill posts. To me this is a bunch of sudo science BS for the weak minded...Or a way for schills to market polished rocks and chips of plastic [one born every min]. This kind of BS tweak is what brings our hobbie down, how can folks take us seriously when many of us buy such sh.t.But if you like what polished rocks and plastic chips can do good for you great but dont tell me to try this crap out just so I can prove myself right.You all wanted to hear a + diferance you paid good money for it, so you made yourselfs hear a + diferance....One wouldnt want to think themselve foolish;)Thats the real way these things work its all in your mind.

A couple of new break through products. As if outlet covers, Pebbles, & magic boxes where not enough to keep us satiated for the next 10 years. He and his cracked staff of Quantum Physicists are not ones to rest on their laurels.In his Astro physical laboratory where the laws of Quantum physics is being re-defined as we speak - the word on the street is that Geoff is very close to releasing the new "Illuminating Light Bulb" that both illuminates and clarifies the sound. But, it does not stop there, yes there is more - he is also very close to perfecting RF absorbing paint. This paint creates a metaphysical layer on your walls that will not only reduce RF interference - it will absorb it. He is currently in discussions with NASA and the DOD to ensure national defense interest will not be endangered if this product is released.
The word I have is the light bulbs will retail for $95 each, however of course to get the max effect you must use "Illuminating Bulbs" in all your light fixtures throughout your house. When used in this manner, the bulbs create a "cleansing" effect on your household current.
The paint will retail for $125 a gallon, however in order for best results it is recommended that 3 coats be applied. Again, to get max impact it is also recommended that you paint your entire house to create the "Complete RF interference reflection and refraction zone" (One gallon covers a 9 sqf area)

Another range of "magic wand" solutions due to solve a wide range of audio problems at a stroke?...I - and no doubt the world-wide audiophile community - wait with baited breath for the availabilty of such product!... :o)

I have definitely heard improvements on discs where I had previously used the IC. With the effect not being permanent, I would really like to better understand what is going on. This is not to suggest that I don't, like you, find the effect valuable.

Could never be wrong about something you reviewed? And why do you post so much about these questionable tweaks online? And throw in rude posts with no real information like the reason you hear diferances is because your system is so much better than folks who say the heard none.Why dont you rereview the chips and rocks bring in a few other reviewers to try them out to see if there findings match yours? If your so sure this tweak is valid and your review to be spot on then why not?Bet many folks would be interested in such.
Makes me wonder if the manufacter and retailers have so little faith to offer such. Just reinforces to me the questionable nature of said tweaks.
