My first impressions of the polarity of some CDs have now changed. My impression of the polarity of the Norah Jones – Come Away With Me CD is now that both her voice and the instruments are in absolute polarity. My impression now of Reference Recordings CDs is that they are in absolute polarity.Recently I upgraded my CD player and it seems to make it easier for me to discern the polarity of those CDs that I’ve found particularly difficult to call with lower resolution CD players. I feel that Reference Recordings are particularly difficult for me because they have quite a bit more reverberation in the mix than most other CDs and I feel that, for me, reverberation tends to mask a multitude of recording sins and makes it much more difficult for me to discern polarity.
I only call them as I hear them and that means if I change my polarity calls/impressions, I need to update them.

There, I said it.

This way he will misinform as few inmates as possible.
The sound will flip out of absolute polarity!!! [-;
Please spare us. Your "calls" and your "updates" can only pertain to you and your system. They have no application--or interest--for anyone else.Furthermore, you persist in describing specific CDs as being "in" or "out" of absolute polarity when it has been pointed out to you time after time that CDs cannot have "absolute" polarity. They can only be one way or the other. "Absolute" polarity only occurs when you have the playback for any given disc correct, as determined by ear. The CD may be either way.
Please stop spreading disinformation. Do you have any idea how many folks you've turned off of the whole subject who might be enjoying better sound right now were it not for your disinformation?
If anybody has set back the "cause" of polarity more than George, I don't know who it is.
Georgey Boy...it's a 'long and winding road" ...If you get an strong itch to put on the Beatles after reading this...resist. The you know what of your life should be flipped ...we've been down this same road before on your March 10 post...we need a break from your one-mindeness.Your giving "Clark" a bum rap with all of this...
He could be talking politics, right?...And I don't really remember what and when, but I swear this guy said something once that got me thinking...
