They already sound very good compared to the Fane. Playing a few tracks from Kind of Blue SACD, they sound like Miles is playing in my room. Thanks to Bruce for install them and mikelakers let me audition his Fostes tweeter based Titan.
Follow Ups:
Very good upgrade Sang. Congratulations.
Hmmm, I may need to talk to Bruce. The Fane isn't cheap and I opted to cheap out with some Axioms, that aren't bad, but they could use a little more sparkle while the Fanes were just crass enough to bug me enough not to spend the money.
The T500a MKII is quite a bit more expensive than the T925a that I have and those are already at least twice the price of the Fanes... but worth every penny.
Congrats, Stang.
The fostex fit into the opening cut for the Fane on the Titan tweeter box. You do need to add couple of layers of plywood to elevate the cradle come with the Fostes to the proper height. I added some foam and wood block to make sure the tweeter won't fall inside of the tweeter box. I plan to make a maple adapter similar type used in Cain & Cain midrange driver. Mike, I will post some photos when I get the adapter made.
