Well I'm getting around to my third set of speakers finally. I have 2 Q-Power 15 metal cone woofers, 2 titanium horn drivers from Steel Sound, and 2 Piezo Horns for ultra highs {Might not use them though}. I have the screw on lenses for the horns and I am thinking Klipsh Corner boxes for a final design. These Q-Power things are 8 ohm home drivers but being from a Car audio manufacturer I am certain that they will probably prefer a smaller than usual cabinet for proper loading. I have no actual specs so I will use the specs from pioneer 15's of near identical design.
Question: Will the Fold a Flex design be a proper idea for these ? As determining the resonance may be impossible otherwise. Why build a set in stone cabinet that is to boomy?
Is there a better idea than Klipsh front mounted folded horn?

Deckers1I'm surprised that nobody has weighed in on this yet! I am quite sure that the KLIPSCH "corner box" to which you refer is the KLIPSCHORN. It is a folded horn (not a "Fold a Flex" design) and the woofer driver that it uses is optimized for this use... your Q-Power 15 metal cone woofers would, no doubt, sound terrible in a Kipschorn. Better to try something else.
Cheers,
yeah - I don't have a model of Reed's Fold A Flex and Klipschorn works uh best overall (subject to debate) with K33E - - I don't know those metal woofers - if Deckers can get someone to measure T-S then might help make a decision. (maybe he should still ask K-forum folks just to get them going) - they're probably too heavy (?) for Karlson
Well I got the link from post of yours' freddyi. The idea seems feasable.
