I have seen this pics, first though was wow a real true audiofile, second thought...what about time alignment, the bass will be getting to your living room when the song has already finished!!

. . . it's called syncopation. These speaks must be great for jazz. :-)Seriously, am I correct in assuming that the only viable alternatives for time correction in this kind of a setting are 1) to align the diaphrams of the horns or 2) to use digital delay?
BTW one good way to do time alignment with a bass horn is to have the bass horn behind, below, or above the listener, and listen seated in the mouth of the horn. Then if the distance from the other horns to the listening position is the same as the overall length of the bass horn, everything will be aligned.
I would be scared to death to try a system like this . . . there is NO turning back, NO possibility for failure. You either get it right or you are screwed for life.
Take a look at the black bass horns on the right with the bright white mouth in the middle. Looks like the time alignment is off by almost 0.1s :)

No that was taken care by the fact that the mid horns originate from the left and right neigbours : )
Good point. A Cypriot setup I believe.
