I guess in my small downtown condo I could just use the balcony ;) You thing the condo homeowners association would approve?
Enjoy!!
P.S.: Please excuse if someone had posted these pictures before - just though I had to share...

Not exactly, but I did design one “small horn” for work that is kind of humorous.
There is a short construction Video that shows how its made.

Best,

Don't imagine too many will hang around for long with this kind of LF output!!!!

Looks like some kind of tapped horn?? My exwife probably will need something like this to cure her constipation!!
1) Market it as a passive exercise device. Madonna would probably buy one; it could do double duty. ("I never leave home without my Matterhorn." -- Madonna)2) Market it as a medical device -- cures constipation without the use of laxatives.
3) Tour wherever they have problems with prairie dogs, park in farmers' fields, and let your favorite Japanese taiko drum ensemble have at it.
Hey Tom - so Sd is ~40-15" and tapped horn variant - has it been run on music trax?
Damn Tom, I guess Steve and I are wimps, our subs only take about 9 sheets of plywood.

also U don't use 40KW input :^)
I have seen this pics, first though was wow a real true audiofile, second thought...what about time alignment, the bass will be getting to your living room when the song has already finished!!
. . . it's called syncopation. These speaks must be great for jazz. :-)Seriously, am I correct in assuming that the only viable alternatives for time correction in this kind of a setting are 1) to align the diaphrams of the horns or 2) to use digital delay?
BTW one good way to do time alignment with a bass horn is to have the bass horn behind, below, or above the listener, and listen seated in the mouth of the horn. Then if the distance from the other horns to the listening position is the same as the overall length of the bass horn, everything will be aligned.
I would be scared to death to try a system like this . . . there is NO turning back, NO possibility for failure. You either get it right or you are screwed for life.
Take a look at the black bass horns on the right with the bright white mouth in the middle. Looks like the time alignment is off by almost 0.1s :)

No that was taken care by the fact that the mid horns originate from the left and right neigbours : )
Good point. A Cypriot setup I believe.
