Hi All, my brother in law called me today. In his two bed room closets, on the top shelve, there are a pair of built in speakers which face out into his living room. He never uses them and would rather have the closet space. He said I could have the drivers. I didn't get any data off the speakers but they are jensen coax speakers with a crossover. Has anyone heard of these and do they sound any good. They are 12" and green. Cheers.
Follow Ups:
maybe they're on this list? - and go on an adaptor board :^)Fisher Doctor's K15 in "Karlsonite"
Hey Freddyi, about three years ago, I did a custom paint job for a cabinet maker and he still owes me about $1000.00 in cabinet. I was going to have him do something for our house but now that we are moving out of the area, I think I will have him build me a pair of these for the Jensens. Cheers.
with cheap import plywood - should take 2.5 4x8' sheets to build two k15 and two adaptor rings plus glue, finish, saw blades and sweat
Is pretty crappy arround my location full of voids and delaminations stuffs junk for sure.
hope you get some $$$$$$$$ credit to boot ! - that's incredibly big $ for K - gotta remember they're among THE most hated speakers on the planet - and you may be among those who don't like em.shelf and port dimensions can be adjusted later. wings are 3/4" like the rest. -IIRC (?) wing radius is around 51" - make sturdy 12" to 15" adaptor plates in case 15" are desired some time in the future.
oh yah, these cabs would note take up my whole credit. Cheers.
I found a picture of them...I don't know what I was thinking, but they are not green. Cheers.
