Bill,For our agenda I'd also like to propose that Dave do a short presentation on measuring speakers for dummi......? I just can't say it. Its just too personal.
If you can't measure a speaker it makes it pretty difficult to stay in this business.
Hi Don, yes, a good idea to show what can (and can't) be done with affordable basic pc-soundcard-based measuring systems. It will be useful to compare it to the results from professional-grade measurement systems.RCA-fan, I have recruited Dave West for site security during the yet-to-be-dated event. He has relevant experience, and is disinterested in audio so he'll be able to concentrate on watching over the equipment, freeing us to enjoy the event.

This is a pretty secure building, and Warkworth has watchful eyes. It is a great little community. I have done a few shows there, and everything was secure.I will re-post this idea when it is a little warmer- and NO snow.
Freddi's idea of an on-line video-is a good one.
When the time comes- June- I will re-post - I am now thinking of a complete learning / measuring seminar, on how horns work with some of my R&D prototypes, failed( don't do this !) and successful .
There are B&B's in the area.
One hitch is that the Library is on the lower floor on a Saturday. Hall is free Sunday.
I can also arrange a lunch thing at the TalkBack Cafe- appropriate name.
