Well got the fiberglass inside and sealed the cabinet and fired them up. Again ver spacial, great imaging no problem on the high end...bot no bass projection. When I put my ear to the vent I hear great bass inside....So I'm glad I only spent about $40 to put them together. I think this is a great 12" coax very efficient (Better than 94). I'm going to try the aristocrat or marque cabinet next...
Follow Ups:
forgot to mention - Karlson k15 and my 18" variant imo have good bass impact with strong motor and 30-300W input peaks on drums - better than my reflex and probably better than some of my horn.
You think a K15 with a 12" would be Ok? I was also looking at a TL 48" high 14wide 19 deep with a 80 line to a 7" vent...I was trying to build a small cabinet but looks like I have to go big. People keep telling me go Open baffle with these drivers.
it might sound 'ok' and with adaptor a home for 15 coax - SP15B had qts 1.33 so your driver might be very musical OB ? - there were some big boxes discussed for 12trxb - seems like one was ~14 cubic foot !
a curiosity for me
there's not much pipe volume, line is short, aperture kinda big - besides PWK-licensed E-V maybe RCA-Fan or someone would have enclosure suggestions
