Go with the New Fertin 20EX fielcoil. It goes up to 20Khz flat roll off to 40khz without a tweeter.
Natural, aliveness, dynamic and do excellent with open-baffle.
Follow Ups:
A Fertin dealer suggesting the purchase of Fertin speakers when opinions of other speakers are requested seems to me to be advertising and against the forum rules.
First, I'm not a Fertin dealer. Dealer=profit, and I don'tmake a penny out of the sale of Fertin.
Second, I really think that the Fertin 20EX is a excellent
altenative to using the driver mentioned above especially in
open-baffle and with the new cones , spider and voice coil;you get a flat 20khz without a tweeter.
When we talk about organ music, I would really suggest
to add a woofer: 15 inch or 18 inch.
Is there a rule about helping people getting the Fertin
and saying it's a very good fullrange driver. If I made money
out of this I would advertise as a dealer but I don't.
You have described yourself before as a "Representative from Fertin" and under such position an unsolicited recommendation is still to me a form of advertising.Having said so I appreciate the efforts from people like you that allow us to have drivers otherwise unavailable. A couple of years ago I wanted to buy a pair of Fertins. I ended up buying Supravoxes because David Levinson sells them in the US and acquiring Fertins was more of a hassle. I'm very very very happy with my field coil Supravoxes and I'm sure that the Fertins speakers are on the same level. They should be wonderful drivers.

ps What kind of power supply do you use/recommend for your field coils? I've found that nothing beats batteries on mines.
what he does is hardly different than the Zu Druid posts below shilling for them and bragging about talking to the owner....much less offensive cause the posts are shorter and more helpful
Hi,Having said so I appreciate the efforts from people like you that allow us to have drivers otherwise unavailable.
I think this is the is the main idea:
If you can't contact Fertin, then I can help, like I did in the
past.
The power supply that Jean-Marie Semblat uses with his
drivers is the Villemann Ps907( He has the 20EX with the 38EX)
Hope that I didn't upset anyone by suggesting my favorite
driver.
felt the same way myself
