About 10 days ago i asked about where to get Rolling Stones SACDs and how they compaired to vinyl.Eventually i ordered 15 titles from the Amazon (255$ ouch.......).
It's absolutely imposible to find them using Amazon's search - stephan's SACD.net came to great help here.A good surprise was that after i saved the order whithout final submition - after a few days most of the titles got cheaper by 3-4 dollars - nice :-)
While package was in shipment i noticed that i didn't double check inside titles' descriptions that they are indeed SACD.
So i found in 2 titles no mention that they are SACD - Amazon's customer support confirmed that :-\Today i've got the package and found out that no title has SACD or DSD logo on it - WTF?!
"Are all those plain vanilla CD's?" i thought :-\
I can only check them at home at SACD player............So i decided to check on the net and found that http://www.upcdatabase.com web site shows all of them as SACD titles - what a relief :-)
I never thought that it would be so difficult to identify SACD.
Why they didn't mark them appropriately?....................I hope that at home my SACD player indeed will show that all of them have DSD layer.

Follow Ups:
I have recently purchased a few Stones SACDs from Music Direct and Acoustic Sounds, because I could not seem to find them on Amazon. I use Amazon but you have to be really careful with picking the exact version of a recording (eg. CD/DVD, SACD, import, different release years....). Would be a bummer, if I could have gotten them cheaper. Good luck!!
Actually, I should have said, which ones were SACDs and if you had issues with the returns. Thanks.
basically speaking all digipacks are SACDs, the jewel cases are plain CDs (although DSD remastered with SBM).
i submitted refund query to Amazon - hope they won;t shake their responsibility.
I was in Best Buy and saw the 'remastered' ABKOs in Digipacks that WERE NOT SACDs. They have a sticker on them that says REMASTERED or something like that.IIRC, my 14RS SACDS had a sticker on them mentioning SACD. If you open up the SACD digipacks, there's a page that goes into SACD and the fact that it's also a CD.
The five I bought at the time of release had no markings on the packaging, but the stencil on the CD has the SACD trademark and "This Stereo Hybrid SACD can be played on any compact disk player." A calligraphically ornate "Certificate of Authenticity" of the "Inaugural Edition Hybrid Disk 2002" was included with each disk.
I think one of the only ways to tell is that there is a little certificate inside that states they are SACD. these ones were truly limited edition and I am somewhat surprised you were able to find so many of them.It is not clear from your message that you have confirmed that they are SACD. I certainly hope that they are!
I always thought that if they were digipacs that they were the SACDs. Jewel cases, not.
