This collectors item is nice for all, who want to compare the 3 formats, LP, SACD and CD.DMM Direct cut LP is the LP format at its best. No tape, no editing, just a live performance microphone signal mix going to the cutting head. Like the old Sheffield and Crystal Clear LPs were done 30 years ago.

music........... pretty boring.......
a
can give you an idea what they are doing. Pretty darn good sound. the first tune, "The Beat Hotel" is among the best recording that I have ever heard. Pretty cool stuff to if you are really into the jazz lifestyle. I snagged it at Hi Fi Brussels in '05.
From their web site:
"This direct-to-disc vinyl record comes with a SACD (DSD 2channel-layer) which also contains a CD-hybrid-layer. This seems to be the first opportunity ever available to compare three formats originating from the same analog source and transferred unaltered into two digital formats"Would be interesting to hear which format sounds better (LP/SACD) and by how much.....
