I'm looking to buy all Rolling Stones SACDs before they vanish completely.I see that they still available at Amazon for 19$.
Follow Ups:
My local Best Buy stores have them mixed in with the regular Rolling Stones CD's. The SACD's are in the Digipacs but they do not say SACD on the packaging.
And, several of them are under $10!!http://search.half.ebay.com/Rolling-Stones-Super-Audio_W0QQmZmusic
-RW- You're welcome!
thx for the links.
as i'm from outside USA i can only buy online (worked always great untill now :-)are some of the discs are not recommended?
i see that there few "compilations" which are quite expensive - and seems to have the same songs as on "original" albums.........
I've heard that the Stones SACD recordings aren't always clearly identified. - If this is true, how do you tell whether it's an SACD recording?
I think th 9XXXX serial number means SACD hybrid as well.
All the Stones SACD's came in a cardboard sleeve, the new dsd remasters are in jewel boxes.
HowdyThere are a lot of posts in the archives about the various discs. I've got them all and enjoy them :)
for $24!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can still find some of the Stones discs (as they are out-of-print) at Best Buy (and perhaps Circuit City too) stores for $14.99. I had one in my hands this past weekend I do not own as I had a 10% off coupoun but I opted for "New Favorite" by Alison Krauss and Union Station (which I do own) as it was $14.99 less 10% and Elusive Disc is closing this out-of-print title out at $40.
