If you have not heard the SACDs by this artist I would highly recommend her to you. I learned of her through the Brit magazine HiFi Plus. The sound is the BEST I have ever heard on a singer-songwriter album and I find the music to be terrific as well. I particularly like the Yola disc and the newest one Out There. Check it out. scott

She has three SACDs out and all are phenomenal...
I'd recommend both her SACD's. Each offers her unique outlook on life. And both are sonically excellent. Good call Scott.

It sounds like English, but I can't understand a word you're saying.
... "Yola"
"early hours"
"Out There"Her latest "Out There" being my favourite from a musical perspective.
The "Quote, Unquote" song I cannot get out of my mind.
True true. But I only have Yola and Out There, so I could only comment on those two.

From your comment "I'd recommend both her SACDs", I was left with the impression you knew of only two. No big deal.
Get ready for some serious bass when you listen.
I have Yola and it is an okay disc for me. Nothing great. The overall sound quality is very good with the exception of the bass in my opinion. I find the bass too overblown. A customer of mine feels the same way.For me, when it comes to overall sonics and music in a SACD from a singer songwriter, it has to be "Hell or High Water" by Sara K.
Boy, my experience is that it sounds like the bassist is in the room and the bass pops and slams like it should. I will try the Sara k. Thanks for the recommendation. scott
