stuff like this........Damn record industry.....
Watching the reel as it comes to a close,
Brutally taking it's time,
People who change for no reason at all,
It's happening all of the time.
Follow Ups:
Bid early and Often!!
Wouldn't it be great if we could get some "rebel" on board to find a way to duplicate SACDs preserving the quality? Like redbook.......Committing acts of sabotage at duplication centers may yield unpalatable consequences

GOLD Disc's !!. and 2-CD's are GOLDThis eBay seller is confused. There is NO gold in these hybrids.

Geoff
Well,Mine are gold color,Maybe not 24K but gold color,Not Silver disc's.??
Yes, most (maybe all) hybrids appear to have a golden hue. However, this is not caused by gold sputtering on the CD layer - that's what a MFSL or DCC Gold CD uses. The CD layer on a hybrid has normal aluminium sputtering. The golden hue is caused by the semi-transmissive (DSD) layer. I believe this is caused by the silicon in that layer, although I am not completely sure.
As far as I know, no gold is used to make hybrids.

Geoff
...why you think people bidding up/overpaying for an OOP disc set that didn't sell very well when it was in print is the record industry's fault?
UH, - good point Racerguy......You mean everything on earth isn't the recording industry's fault??
:-)
Didn't know it was out of print. So, - anyway, - dang, - CD and SACD prices start out way too high....
:-)
