This is an excellent recording. Minimalist acoustic guitar and bass with nice singing by Muddy Waters. Buddy Guy plays a good bit of the guitar material as well.Looks like you can purchase a used one as low as $9.90/USD.

Chances are you will end up with the regular cd version using the Amazon marketplace.Seek out the Classic records DAD of this title. It's better than the SACD.
"Chances are you will end up with the regular cd version using the Amazon marketplace. "This has happened to me before when buying used, but the vast majority of the time I get the selection I ordered - including my own copy of Folk Singer in DSD. I've purchased a large potion of my collection used, and have saved huge as a result. It is worth the occassional shipment of the wrong product in terms of overall cost of software - easily. Also, most of the sellers that have screwed up my orders have refunded me without requiring me to send the merchandise back.
Potential of DAD format notwithstanding (I like DAD recordings also), my DSD copy sounds analog-like and is one of my favorite recordings.
Here are a few more good DSD recordings:
Leo Kottke - 6 and 12 String Guitar
Nickel Creek (Nickel Creek)
Jorma Kaukonen - Blue Country Heart
R.L. Burnside - First Recordings
T-Bone Walker - T-Bone Blues (electric but well played and recorded)
Albert King - I'll Play the Blues for You (also electric)

HowdyNot for everybody :) Tho I prefer the SACD, DADs are pretty good in general for me and certainly better than Redbook. Right now I wish I could find about 40 DADs that I lost in some random box when I moved :(
