definitely a misprint, The silkscreen has all the prerequisite labeling for MCH and stereo SACD. I got it from BMG, some time ago. Since i use a modded SACD player and has all displays off, never really payed attention to it, just thought it was not a particularly good recording. Never really thought to look at it. Since my player has been slightly picky about CDs....i looked at what it is displaying, i was most surprised that it would not play this disk as an SACD. Do you think i should have any recourse?dee

Follow Ups:
It's not an SACD so as String Section did, I would try to get it corrected.
I had a similar experience with two of the BIS-licensed Grieg discs sold by the Musical Heritage Society. They were labeled as SACDs on both the packaging and on the discs themselves, but they were merely redbook cds. I called MHS' attention to the error several months after the purchase, and they happily gave me a full refund, including shipping both ways. I then went to CD Universe and re-purchased the real SACDs for just a few dollars more.
now i just need to figure out how to get in touch with them.dee
