I like the Art Pepper + 11 better. Great tunes and sound that'll blow your hair back. Their version of Round Midnight is absolutely killa.

The old silver MFSL beats the pants off the SACD, too.As for the Rhythm Section disk, I think Jimmy Jones described the differences perfectly.
some of those old MoFi silver jazz discs are quite good. While only having a few of them, the few I have are excellent recordings of excellent music. Some here have claimed that the MoFis are rolled off on the high end. Why is it OK for their speakers, pre amps, disc players and the like to be rolled off in order to eliminate glare, but not their recorded media?
I agree with Ozzie....the + 11 is a great SACD especially for the age of the recording...late 50's
Take it from me, the original LP on Contemporary kicks butt, too. So also does "...Rhythm Section".
