Pretty Dumb, in my opinion, for SONY to make the SACD output accessible only thru HDMI. I know NOBODY that has a AVR that takes HDMI audio. They might as well just have deleted SACD from the unit.....its going to work out the same way .
This certainly isnt going to do any wonders for SACD.
I know NOBODY that has a AVR that takes HDMI audio.Almost all current generation A/V receivers accept multichannel audio via HDMI. That's the way of the present and future for HT. The PS3 will plug right in just like any other DVD player.
