The DADC CD/SACD/DVD pressing plant i Austria/Europe has cut their prises. Before October 1, they charged NOK 7,- (ca. $1) more for pressing hybrid SACD compared to ordinary music CD's. Now, after October 1 2006, it's only NOK 2,- (ca. 30 cent).

Good News that price drops to 30 per cent BUT WHY.?Does this mean they were overcharging in the first place.
or have they changed the process and we may get an inferior new product.?
Or is it a new push to create business due to a slowdown in sales ie DGG making that horrendous decision...
Will it effect the price of other pressing plants worldwide...will that have an effect on viability...?
More questions than answers?...
So now everything is cream and they can afford to try and pinch business from other manufacturers.
.
Bad news for ZS KEKL... he he.., maybe EMI now will re-release the Beatles catalog on hybrid SACD..
Yeah, and he has been strangely silent about the Genesis releases. He is still hanging on to the afterglow of that pseudo-Beatles circus soundtrack. Whatever get's him through the night ... and it isn't even inflatible. Mike.
