....at Metro. Not as good (small) a venue as Schubahs, but still pretty good. I'll try to take photos and post em if I can. I still have a couple photos from the Schubahs concert a few months ago, and I'll try top post those too....I remember one person asked me to post those a long time ago....
Follow Ups:
At the Austin City Limits Festival. I thought i was going to see Soundtrack of Our Lives, but there was a schedule change and it was Rachel Yamagata. She was very happy to have people there as well. She went so far as to teach people her songs so they could sing along. Interesting in a not so good show kind of way.
A good show. She only has 1 album, so she only played for an hour and a quarter. I haven't seen as good a performer so, well, just so happy to have people come. Her first words coming on stage were: "People came!" The lunatics I was with kinda put a damper on the show, but still, a good time was had by all.
Technically, she has 2 albums, the "EP" and "Happenstance." Both are great, though there is a couple of songs duplicated (in different versions, though). These 2 albums probably get more playtime on my system than any other albums I've bought last year. Looking forward to her next album..
