And they were fantastic.
The basic (BASIC!!!) 7 piece had another 5 musicians on stage, 4 violins and a cello, although players were doubling up all round.
4 of them played bass....
And to cap a 2 hour show, after 3 encores, they pulled 2 girls from the front of the crowd to sing the last song with them.
Open communicative, very funny and such songs as most of us can only dream of writing.
It was a great night.
If they come near you, see them, and see them again.

And let's just say my experience didn't match yours. Catchy tunes, and the place was filled with their fans, but it seemed like even they were bored.
Or a better question, how big was the stage? : )

They played the Tivoli in Brisbane which is a curious mix of Victorian ornate platerwork walls and a wooden barn roof.
My guess is it holds around 600 and they played 2 nights.
The stage was plenty big enough for the 12 of them and a few audience,but then most of them seem quite short and thin!
Capacity is approx 1000 when no seats set up downstairs. I asked a while ago while attending another show there.
