acquired a new rug and it changed my world. It dampened some of the liveness in my room and made a better instrument location and richer, but tighter bass, - more under control. So Sigur Ros went on: and WOW!!
Urban Dervish and Orient Expressions and Lisa Gerrard and on and on....
New rug, more than a tweak...
"The men who own the city make more sense than we do: their actions are clear, their lives are their own"
Follow Ups:
for you to q-tip your ears. "Amazing!" "The extended highs!" "The width and breadth of the soundstage now to INFINITY AND BEYOND!"
Sorry, but hyperbole gets old after awhile.
I spent the last year focusing on improving the room.Glad to hear it helped. Now I need new tunes, I'm in a musical rut. I liked the idea of Asian Dubs "Tank" but didn't like the music. I got a used copy of Massive Attacks singles box w/10 discs and loved some of those remixes. Inertia Creeps........but not here in Hip Pop.....lets bring it back to life.
Yes...let us revive this place.
I ordered a rare Jap import of the latest African Head Charge from 2005-checking the mailbox daily for it.....
Then you will love the new greatest hits pack. The new song "Live With Me" is a TORTURE track for any bookshelf speaker (wild guess), really good track, my wife said that she thinks it might be the best song ever.Hip Pop needs a boost, i agree.
The two "solo" albums are just wonderful and the collected piano music is kind of on the Massive Attack-Debussy faultline.
How does the live with me sound on your system... Not that it really matters, just wondering, is this a "torture" track or is it really heavy in the mids...like i said, i dont care just wondering, i saw them play three times, xcellent. You might dig on the Horace Andy set that Massives label put out, Melancolic.
Respect
I' ll listen again tonight and reply. Thanks for the tip.
