I'm looking for some new music along the lines of the following:Pete Namlook And Tetsu Inoue - Shades of Orion
Tetsu Inoue And Carlos Vivanco - Zenith
It is best described as "blippy". Very simple beats with a arpeggiator sequence running in the background. I've poked around the fax catalog but can't find much else like this. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

I'm not sure either what it is you're after but you might like this. It's a band called e*vaxYou can buy their album and hear a clip at Darla
Copy and paste the band name above into the search bar there (you need to include the * as it's part of the name) It will be the second on the list and a related item, e*rock will be above it.
Not only is the e*vax album quite good, it is recorded extraordinairily well and makes a great test disc.
Days of Mars by Delia Gonzalez and Gavin Russom -- one of my favourite releases from last year. You might also want to look up some old school Tangerine Dream (Ricochet, Tangram come to mind) &&/|| Klaus Schulze (Mirage and X).
Tell me if that's the sort of thing you're looking for.
If I understand what you mean by blippy music, I like blippy music.
Not sure if it would be what you want, but have you ever heard Electric Skychurch? I've got Sonic Diary and its pretty blippy and repetitive.
I'm not familiar with the two albums you mentioned (there are too many Fax relases keep up with), so I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for... but the three Autechre albums I have, in decending order of "blippiness" are Tri Repetae, Amber, and Incunabula. I prefer the later two.Another album that comes to mind is Higher Intelligence Agency - Freefloater.
BTW, if you're interested in hearing another Tetsu Inoue collaboration, "Cymatic Scan" with Bill Laswell on the Subharmonic label was a good one. It's "dark" ambient music, but not blippy at all.

Thanks Anthony!I'm familiar with the Autechre titles you mention and even have a few.
The fax stuff I listed is quite simple actually. It's basically 20+ minute songs (not unusual for fax releases :-)) with 4 on the floor type beats and a simple sequencing loop. It sounds like bad trance, but it's very subtle and far more ambient than upbeat. Tetsu didn't continue this with his other releases unfortunately. I'll check out HIA and see if that is what I'm looking for.
Thanks,
