Yep, spent Friday, Saturday, & Sunday nites in the basement with the TV radar display on; close calls all three. Not a basement as most imagine; ours is finished in real knotty pine & tile or carpet, has a fireplace, dry bar, jukebox, cook stove, full bathroom, & spare bedroom. We normally spend a lot of time there anyway & listening to Jazz on PBS FM Saturday evenings. 'Cept for worry for friends, we were OK. One tornado thankfully lifted off the ground as it passed directly overhead. Perhaps Nature was extending professional courtesy as I've had my near death experience (almost electrocuted as a power-grid lineman; see My Experience posted in TubesDIY forum catagory). You take care too, Timbo (a Traveling Nurse cousin contracted a rare sinus infection while working in the Aussie Outback last year; she is in Nebaraska USA now, still with sinus complications & a swollen face). Small world.
Since I've lasted this long after my accident, my Doctors have recently taken me OFF the endangered species list. Still have health issues but I'm not expected to drop tomorrow as they previously warned. Whew!
That is great news. You must have a strong constitution.
