One of my all time favorite artists!Besides David Helpling, know of anyone else who does similar (instrumental) stuff?
I have enjoyed Patrick O'hearn myself. I have almost everyone of his Albums. I also have one of David Helping's ( sleeping on the edge of the world) Would you recommend any of David Helpings other recordings? I too would like to find similar music, dreamy, moving, energizing and sonically mind blowing.
Favorite Patrick O'hearn is probably "El Dorado" or "Trust"

D. Helpling has only two albums, as I understand. Both excellent. I've kinda wondered if David and Patrick are the same guy - their voicing is incredibly similar.You must have So Flows The Current, almost the latest from Patrick O., some of his finest, if not his best. Slow Time is interesting, but not quite my fave.
I understand Patrick has several soundtracks to his credit, I've got to find those, too.
"Mind blowing" is not a term I would use for his new age output, although it is generally inoffensive. Kind of like a musical Valium. His bass playing with Zappa is an entirely different story.
