How could you verify that your strings have actually been cryo'ed? In fact, they could be sticking those strings in the microwave for all we know.
trombones, cymbols, piccolos, band saws, what have you...
Nothing new there. The whole Cyro thing has been going on for years in the guitar world...

as the above posts have listed- both.sound and durability is affected by the cyro stuff.
even though I no longer use Dean Markleys, they were good strings...

Dean Markley has been doing this for years with their Blue Steel line of strings. They cost about $7 a set and my local guy has a buy 2 get one free policy so it is really a bargain. Anyone that plays the guitar will tell you they have their own preference for certain strings. On the electrics I love the Blue Steels, they have a tone and feel that I prefer over other sets I've tried. I am not saying it is because they have be treated cryogenically but I don't think it hurt at all. The strings seem to last longer and are far less likely to break.

Of course, it is likely impossible to do a scientifically controlled experiment. The biggest factor as far as I can tell is that the usual case is you are taking off older strings and replacing with fresh. However, here's a data point. Before Arturo Delmoni's lamentably now out of print violin and guitar recording with David Burgess, I asked Applied Cryogenics to process a set of violin strings for Arturo. He was using the same set when he made a recording engineered by David Hancock, a Juilliard graduate. Hancock spontaneously remarked that he preferred the sound of Arturo's Guadagnini to the Stradivari he previously had had on long-term loan. But that could have been just as much that Arturo was learning how to get the best sound out of his "new" violin.
Arturo did not continue to use cryo strings for practical and logistical reasons.
Good luck,

and without any known contribution from cryogenics!...As always, cryogenically treated items are just another option that may or may not be regarded as delivering appropriate benefits, probably primarily dependent on each individual and their particular circumstances... just like different sources, amps, or speakers...
Have you got a set of cryo'd NOS valves in your amp, Dave?... If so, I'd be interested in any preceived differences you may have noted between your present configuration and the same amp at "factory spec"...
